I Am An Athelete Diagnosed With High Blood Pressure And Taking Labetalol. Is It Bad For My Health?

i'm not sure if my profession is good for my health. i just took my blood pressure and it was 151/103. i'm 5'7.5 and weigh 146 pounds. i was diagnosed with HBP in the spring of 2012. i currently take labetalol and I am 37 years old. my family has a history of HBP and i was able to fight it off for as long as i did because i'm athletic
