I Am Coming To The End Of My Period And

I am coming to the end of my period and am experiencing constipation. The bloating is immense and although I feel a huge desire to pass a motion it just won't happen which is so uncomfortable. I've just taken fibrogel in desperation . Can I do anything else to alleviate the discomfort and help the motion pass?
