I Am Diagnosed As Being A Diabetis Type 2. What Is The Right Figure I Should Try To Maintain Please ?

I am just home from hospital following a stent being put in my heart and im diagnosed as eing a diabetis type 2 controoled by tablets i teat my BS everyday and its around 9.5 in tne mornings as i wake and around 10 in the night after food what is the right figure i should try to maintain please

Hi.. The normal sugar limit would be between 4.5 to 7 mmol/dl.. You need to maintain this.. If your sugar are not within this range, then get a glycosylated hemoglobin levels checked.. This would give an indication of how well your sugar levels are being maintained.. If the response is poor, then you may need alternative treatment strategies..
