I Am Experiencing Spasmodic Spasms Like A Heartbeat Missed But

I am experiencing spasmodic spasms like a heartbeat missed but completely painless. I am also short of breath and have a bit of an inclination to cough. I have been experiencing the breathlessness and desire to cough for about 6 weeks but the brief heartbeat missed spasms for the last few days. I am a mild asthmatic and thought I have been having asthma problems due to the change of season but worse than usual but the heartbeat type spasms are something new and are worrying me.
