I Am Having Chest Pains On My Left Side

I,m having chest pains on my left side. Really hurts when I put any pressure on it. Now there is a sack or a swollen place under my ribs on the same side. The pain also goes the left side ribs under my arm. I had x-rays done today. Do you have any ideas?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Dear sir/madam
Thanks for writing to us.
A pain which hurts on pressure and is associated with a swelling is likely to be a local pain. This is unlikely to be cardiac pain. Such pain can be due to local inflammation, soft tissue injury or local infection. You must see your GP , more urgently, in case you have fever, cough, shortness of breath or loss of generalised well being.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
