I Began Having Inner Ear Pain Last Week On Wen.

I began having inner ear pain last week on wen. I also had a low-grade fever of about 100. I went to the doctor the following day and he diagnosed me with an inner ear infection and prescribed me Cephalexin.

I still have had a low-grade fever on and off I can feel fluid in my ear almost like a dripping feeling wanting to run out but nothing comes out. I would say there is pressure feeling too

On the same side as the infection my jaw right below my ear there is discomfort. There is no popping present and is uncomfortable rather I am speaking or just sitting still. I am not sure if this could be related to the ear infection?

My other concern is how long after I start an antibiotic until I begin to see improvement I have never had an ear infection before and not sure how the body works on healing.

I do notice too a minor blockage sound when I wear ear buds but do not notice a difference in hearing unless I am wearing ear buds.

So my concerns are how long until the antibiotics start to take effect and I begin to show signs of improvement and if the jaw pain goes away.

Along with the antibiotics I use swim ear after showering to prevent any other moisture and decongestant For the fever and pain I have been taking motrin.
