I Broke My Left Arm Very Near The Elbow Over

I broke my left arm very near the elbow over 20 years ago (the bone that make your arm twist). Recently (probably in the last 6 months or so) I have been experiencing pain in the area where I had broke it. Along with this pain I am also experiencing muscle soreness in the area around the elbow along with a great deal of weakness in that goes even down to my hand. It's hard to hold on to things. I am assuming this is some kind of arthritis but don't know if there is anything that can be done for it. I have been taking OTC meds to help with the pain and wearing a brace on the elbow which helps provide some strength. Do my symptoms sound like something more than arthritis? Are there at-home exercises that I can do to help?
