I Choked About 7 Years Ago On Food, Passed Out

I choked about 7 years ago on food, passed out and hit the floor. I fell hard enough that it dislodged. I don't know long I was out but I lost control of my urine and bowel. A co-worker found me. I was fine and I saw my physician.Then I started noticing my voice was hoarse and it has not reversed. I'm a woman and I sound like a man. No one seems to be concerned. I still choke very easy and I have to be careful.
