I Get E Regular Period With A 0r 5 Days Before On The Next Month. Medicament Needed To Postpone The Periods. Suggestions?

hello doctor!Last month April I got my periods on 26th.I generally get 4 or 5 days before on the next month.So am expecting my period on 21st,22nd or 23rd.

But due to some function planned to postponed the period date for this month(May).

Please let me know any medicine will work from May 19th to postpone and will it have any side effects.

I would strictly advise you to first consult a doctor before taking any such medications that can alter your period or carry side effects.

Norethisterone is a medication that can postpone your period. I cannot give you details as your location is unknown and the medication is available in different brand names across the world.

Available as in a 5 mg which has to be taken twice a day (morning and night). Side effects like nausea, vomiting, headaches, etc; are all common. Consult your doctor if you experience any side effects.

Discontinue the medication when you are ready to have your period. It will take place within 3-7 days after the last dose.
