I Had A Cut On My Finger That Got Infected,

I had a cut on my finger that got infected, that healed 2 days later I got a fever of 104 that broke I felt better in between the two I felt a not on my forearm, it got bigger red and swollen, very tender.
61 year old male excellent health on no medication. I got an antibiotic from my daughter (2 years out of date)and started on that Keflix? I would go to a doctor but can't afford it thanks to Obamacare.
