I Had A Yellow Jacket Sting Six Weeks Ago And
I had a yellow jacket sting six weeks ago and have been to my PC, BI Acute Care and a hand specialist. The PC took 10 Blood test and nothing showed up.
The day of the sting I had blurring of vision, chills and later that day swelling of my hands, severe paint and burning in my hands.
The doctor put me on Predinsone twice and Aleve. I haven't taken the Steroid for two weeks now and still have stiffness, soreness and some mild swelling in my hands. Also, periods of tiredness.
The conclusion of the doctors I have had bilateral wrist / hand swelling from a serum reaction.
RA reaction only in my hands.
Have you ever heard of such a reaction? When will this go away.
