I Had Abdominal Hernia Surgery And Now Have A Hard

I had abdominal hernia surgery and now have a hard place in my stomach. If I touch it has no feeling, but it is sore at times and my stomach is getting bigger. I saw my surgeon today and he said the CAT scan I had 6 weeks ago shows no other hernia, however, my stomach started growing about 2 1/2 week ago. Should I get a second opinion? I'm 72 and have been colon cancer free for 5 years.
