I had my thyroid removed in June 2015. I had papillary carcinoma with follicular variant in both lobes. I had radioactive iodine in July. I take 150mcg Levothyroxine daily. My last appt with my endocrinologist was 2 weeks ago and my blood work "looked good." I noticed a lump below and to the side of my scar this weekend. The lump is visible by sight and I can feel a mass. Could this be normal scar tissue? I already have a follow up and ultrasound with my oncologist on Feb. 1. Just wondering if I should have it checked sooner. Thanks!
