I Had Severe Chest Pain 3 Times In 3years. I Am 15 Years Old

I'm 15 years old and for a couple of years i've had chest pain? i have chest pain that hurts when i breathe in and continues to hurt through by neck, left arm, and sometimes my back. it s happened to me 3 times in 3 years. one time i began to sweat a lot and i don t know if its serious. is it?

Some causes of chest pain: Heart failure Heart Disease Anxiety Heartburn Panic Attacks Myocardial Infarction Pancreatic malfunction Disfunctional stomach cardiac sphincter Trauma to chest Nerve disfunction/damage Symptoms can point to almost all of these. WHAT I WOULD DO: go see your family doc and ask him his opinion. Tell him you want a 12 line EKG (to test the function of your heart) Tell him you want a PPI (proton pump inhibitor) like nexium to check the stomach route. Tell him you want a referral to a psychologist (to count out the anxiety stuff). You don't have to do it all, but those are the three root causes of MOST possibilities of chest pain.
