I Have 2 Kids (aged 1 And 3), Both Had

I have 2 kids (aged 1 and 3), both had an infectious disease with diarrhea. The infection went away but the diarrhea has been remaining for 2 months now. Our family physician told us that it is all normal up to 6 months and we cannot do anything with it (suggested some probiotics which did not help). She suggested us to wait and then consult with a gastroenterologist. Do you agree with just waiting for another 4 months?
