I Have Heart Flutters Randomly ,I Feels Short Of Breath. Is This Normal ?
I randomly have heart flutters. It s when my heart beats really quickly, but it seems like it briefly stops. When this happens, I m short of breath. Is this normal? I dont take any medications. Well, I do take echinacia to prevent colds, but that wouldnt have any negative effect, would it? You guys are creeping me out. I dont go to regular checkups, our insurance plan is strange. We only go for emergencies. Should I try to get my parents to take me to the doctor? Is this urgent?
It is common for your heart (if it has been beating fast) to skip beats.
Your heart knows what it's doing. If it has been beating fast for a period of time. It isn't uncommon for it to skip a few beats here and there to give itself a bit of rest.
Most people can feel them and it can cause some anxiety in some people when it happens.
It is normal.
If it should become a problem to the point where you have symptoms other than what you described?
Have it checked out. AN EKG will reveal anything abnormal.
Christine
