Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a CHRONIC pain near or on my hip bone. It started late in April when I first had some pain in my neck that went up into my head and then my left shoulder gave me so much pain that I was in tears. I went to the hospital the next day and then to my doctor and had xrays where they saw arthritis in my neck, shoulders and hip. However, the past two weeks most of the pain has been in my left hip area where it is difficult to sit for long periods of time or even laydown. I was in tears once again so I went to the doctor who took me off of Naproxen and put me on a stronger medication but later that day when the pain became so seveere, I was back at the hospital who is now saying it is sciatica after he did some manual tests. I am now taking valium. hydrocodone and Diclofenac Sodium (75 mg) and the pain is STILL there. The relief is too few in coming and I do not like feeling "loopy,"
