I Have A Colostomy Bag And Lately I Am Having

I have a colostomy bag and lately I am having trouble with the stool flowing into the bag - it is firm when I press on my abdomen at the top of the bag. I am a 90 year old male in general good health for a person my age. Is there something I could take to get it flowing?
