I Have A Dry Mouth, Pain In The Upper Neck

I have a dry mouth, pain in the upper neck and mild pain radiating down my left arm. I became very dizzy and had to sit down. I have been diagnosed with degenerative disk disease, a few years ago this diagnosis began with a bulging disk C3. This pain feels similar although not as severe as before. Is this likely the onset of a similar problem? I am hoping to make a doctor appointment rather than go to the ER.
