Hello michelle;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
The lumps in armpit if they are painful then they can be infected lymphnodes.You need to get investigated to find the problem as to whether it is just a infection and inflammation of lymphnodes or it is some other problem like dilated or bocked vein.Please visit a hospital and get investigated and they will treat you accordingly.
Thanks
