I Have A Question I'm A Cna At A Nursing

I have a question I'm a cna at a nursing facility and all the nurses on our section were at a meeting and a resident fell a aid told me and another aid to come the resident was getting up off the floor by the time I came and we didn't lift the resident all three of us aids are getting a write up for not getting the nurse when it happened we didn't think no nurse on floor they said you could interrupt meeting but shouldnot there always be a nurse on every section for these scenarios
