I Have A Sore Throat. History Three Weeks Ago Very

I have a sore throat.
History three weeks ago very sore throat, four days of Zithromax, then ear infections, antibiotic drops, and now another sore throat, this time more like a lump in the middle rather than all the way across, but just as painful.
Doc gave me a decongestant... Thinks I have allergies, but I don't think so. She has not looked at this latest throat.
What is the next antibiotic . I happen to have seven days of 500 mg cipro on hand as well as some older 250 mg tgrée days, which i carry for travelling...
