I Have A Strange Fluttering Sensation In The Left Upper

I have a strange fluttering sensation in the left upper abdomen and a feeling of strong intermittent pulsing in my central abdomen - every few minutes or so. I am 51 years old. No other medical history. Blood pressure is more on the low side than high. No family history of aortic aneurysm.
Should I see my GP about this? I'm doing a long haul flight this weekend and wondering if this should be checked out before then.
