I Have A Swollen Eye, But It Doesn't Feel Irritated Or Red

Ever since I was little my eyes would swell and be watery when i got a cold. I would take some claritin and it would go away. Lately my eyes have been swelling at random times, it starts in the corner of my eye then spreads around my eyelids . It looks like I ve been punched in the eye, however it doesn t look or feel irritated or red. What could be wrong and how do i treat it. (I m 16 years old, female)

Ophthalmologist Dr. Manish Malhotra's  Response
Dear as per your complaints it is very difficult to comment upon the problem as this DOESNOT look allergic , I say that because according to your comment that there is no irritation or redness , I would suggest that show to an ophthalmologist n then start the treatment . All the best
