I Have A White Patch On Mid Of The Tongue

I am a diabetic patient, taking amaryl mp1 pills , once daily. I noticed a small white patch (1/2 cm.)on the mid of my toungue since a week. what s the cause.. doctor? Also I may add , I am a non smoker,but very often I take hot drinks. Is it because of that?..Pl. advice me the do s & don ts.

Hi!
The white patch you see is called Thrush(fungal infection).Seen commonly in diabetics,you may have to take antifungals for the same.Please see your doctor.
