I Have Abrasions On Both Sides Between The Cheeks Of My Buttocks Above My Anus
I have abrasions on both sides between the cheeks of my buttocks above my anus. This was due to a bout of diarrhea and I wiped too aggressively (and I am 67). I have been using antibiotic ointment for several days. What would you recommend?

since the infection is between buttocks it may be a yeast/fungal infection ;so it will be better if you apply an ointment containing a steroid & antifungal medicine.There are ointments which contain all three agents anti-bacterial/fungal/steroid ;these combinations give better results.please apply.
