I took the morning after pill this morning after having unprotected sex a few hours earlier, i was wondering because i've already ovulated if it will still work or if it will be less effective?? because i've read that levonelle prevents ovulation, but if i've already ovulated how does it work??

Hi, I understand your concern. As you know, the morning after pill will not work after ovulation. Now conception depends on when the ovulation has ocured. Fertilization is possible if sperm reaches ovum within 36 hours of ovulation. Thanks
