I Have Always Had Regular Periods And For The Past

I have always had regular periods and for the past 3 months I have been getting very irregular periods . My last period was almost 7 weeks ago . I had an ultrasound performed and they have said that
The uterus is bulky with a volume of 150cc, no fibroids were indent infield , the endometrium is thickened at 19mm suggesting hyperplasia . Ovary have 6 and 5 cc and to see a gynaecologist . Pap smears and bloods all normal
What does this mean , what would have caused it , could I still have children ? What will treatment be , I am only 28 years old .
