Yes, we could find some similarities in you as that of Bulimic patients. The contradictory thing is losing weight which usually does not happen with Bulimics. Many individuals with bulimia excessively eat and vomit in secret and maintain normal or above normal body weight, they can often successfully hide their problem from others for years. People with bulimia nervosa consume large amounts of food and then like to vomit the excess calories. They may also abuse laxatives or diuretics, taking enemas, or exercising obsessively. If not treated, bulimia can lead to nutritional deficiencies and even fatal complications. You might be knowing all these things during your assignment. We appreciate that you feel the sense of it and came out with the problem which normally is not opened up by the patients. Now we suggest you to take the help of the Psychotherapist to find out and assess you if you really are bulimic and if yes, the most successful treatment is a combination of psychotherapy, family therapy, and medication. It is important you to be actively involved in the treatment. We know it is difficult for you to cope up with our your parents but you can as you are going to be in an wonderful profession (Nursing) and sure that it is not easy to be so. You have got that emotional will to tackle the problem for yourself.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Being bulimic is most commonly related to psychotic problem. There are many medicines available which can help you like sibutramine, orlistat, etc. You need to consult your physician to rule out any hormonal disorder associated with this sudden weight gain. Consulting a dietitian to plan out an individualized diet plan will also help you.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
