I Have Been Diagnosed With Calcium Deficiency

I am on diet to loose weight and its very effective too. I lost 7 kgs in 3 months. Now I have been diagnosed with calcium deficiency and advised to take a shelcal OS once a day. but dietitian says it will increase the water retention in my body. I already had water retention problem because of hypothyroid. Please advice if I can any other medicine for calcium.
