Secretions trapped in the glands force perspiration and bacteria into surrounding tissue, causing subcutaneous induration, inflammation, and infection. Apocrine glands occur in axilla(arm pit), groins, perianal,periumbilical,perineal regions.Treatment depends on which stage , degree to which the disease has affected the area, and on how painful the sores are. oral antibiotics,pain killers are given in early stage,Sometimes laser ablation is also done.Surgery is reserved for larger lesions,scarring etc..Please visit a general surgeon in your city.
