I Have Been Feeling A Little Strange Kinda, Should I Be Worried ?

I have had a change in my heart rate and I'm scared!!? My heart rate has always been very high like in the 90 s to 100 s but in the last week it has been at 60 s and 70 s and I have changed nothing. I have been feeling a little strange kinda like a falling feeling(like when an elevator drops) every now and then. I don t know if it s from anxiety or my heart. Should I be worried ? I have an appointment with the doctor next friday but I wonder if I should go to the ER ? Thanks

Hi Lisa, If the heart rate has dropped it is still in normal limits, less than 60 or having symptoms like vertigo , faintness, etc are a genuine indicator of bradycardia. Were you on some medication it can lower the BP and heart rate like Beta Blockers. Anxiety causes a rise and if you are on anxiolytics there will be a drop in heart rate and BP too. Have an EKG and Holter's Moniter if advised by your consultant OK. Take it in lighter veins.
