I Have Been Having Extreme Nausea In The Morning With Dry Heaving For Approximately A Month

Hello,I am a 31 F. I have been having extreme nausea in the morning with dry heaving for approximately a month and a daily migraine headache that usually accompanies it. (I am not pregnant) I can barely eat anything. I also have this feeling of lightheadedness and dizziness . I have been to see a neurologist and he put me on elavil. I was on it for 2 weeks and ended up almost psychotic from it. I saw my pcp today and he is running more blood work. He also instructed me to take zofran for the nausea. This doesn't seem to be letting up and I am getting sick of being sick. Any help or insight is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
you are suffering from migraine. It is thought to be due to vaso dilation of crainial arteries. Generally it is unilateral and associated with nausea. In homoeopathy some medicines work nicely in migraine - 1. Sangunaria 30 - in right sided headache 2. Spigelia 30 - in left sided headache 3. Iris ver 30 - headache with nausea 4. Nat mur 30 - headache in sun light. Use 2 drops 3 times daily according to your symptoms.

Hi Robin,
Morning nausea with vomiting may be due to acid peptic disease which may be due to stress, alcohol intake, smoking, etc. if you are taking alcohol regularly during night stop it as this may cause nausea and headache. by your history i strongly feels gastritis may be due to alcohol intake.

your day routine might be disturbed ,,you need proper diet and routine exercises,stress an be a cause ,drug abuse can lead this please do take care of your life style..drink a plenty of water daily,,continue medication for nausea but follow some braething exercises,include yoga in your routine....mail me at payalrawat16@yahoo.com
