I Have Been Having Neck Problems Due To Concussions And

I have been having neck problems due to concussions and car accidents for quite some time now. However, recently when I bend my neck to each side, as if trying to touch my ear to my shoulder, I feel pain right in the middle of my sternum. Also, simple actions like moving the steering wheel with my arms while driving causes this pain. Are the two related? Do I just allow proper time to heal or is there anything else I should be doing?
