Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been having pain in my shoulder, arm and the muscles in this area for several months. They have progressively gotten worse. if I move a certain way, or jerk my arm/muscle, I have a sharp stabbing pain radiating from my should down my arm. it feels like someone trying to break my arm...literally. My primary doctor did xrays - there are no breaks and I don't remember an injury. he has tried cortisone shots and prescribing meloxicam... either has not helped. In looking thru my past blood work, my Vitamin D levels have been low. I already have a yearly injection of Reclast (Zoledronic Acid) for early stage osteoporosis. Would that be a cause?
