I Have Been Having Sharp Pains In The Middle Of My Chest. What Could Be The Reason ?

I have been having sharp pains in the middle of my chest I am currently 16 and I have had these pains for a few days What could this possibly mean I am currently 16 years old, I turn 17 in two months, I weigh 93lbs. I have been having very sharp pain in the middle of my chest. I have a seven month old baby. I have a long line of heart problems in my family. Both my parents have diabetes type 2.

This pain can be anything from benign muscular to gastirc to more serious cardiac 1 as you have told about the cardiac issues in your family. Only examination can differentiate these pains. Kindly visit your family doctor for a complete checkup.
