I Have Been On Losartan For Blood Pressure For About

I have been on Losartan for blood pressure for about a month now and 3 days ago my dr also added .5 mg of Xanax 3 times a day. For the past 3 nights when I lie down to try to go to sleep my body starts jerking involuntarily. My arms flail, my legs kick and I can't fall asleep because of it. Is this some kind of an interaction between the drugs? I should I had that I have also been on Effexor for years.
