I Have Been Stopped Taking Protonics And Have Started Taking

I have been stopped taking protonics and have started taking Zantac150. I was well managed with the Protonics but my Dr. has asked me to try Zantac after some studies showed undesirable sideffects of long term use of protonics. I have had some reflux on Zantac. I have taken it on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. Only one a day. I am not sure about when is the optimum timing of taking it. I want to try to ad another dose during the day but not sure if there is an optimum hours from the last dose or after eating?
