I Have Chest Pain With Hypertension

I am 24 year old male and I am a college student and I am about 30 pounds overweight. Last time I checked my blood pressure it wasn't great, but it was somewhat under hypertension (140/90 is borderline hypertension mine was around 135/90or somethinglike that). Anyways, I have been having very very dull pains behind my nipple and in the middle of my chest. Are these early signs of something bad like a heart attack or am i being paranoid. They don't hurt really, they are annoying and they are worrying the crap out of me b/c my friends dad just died of a heart attack. Please help, preferrably someone with medical knowledge or a friekin psychologist. Thanks.

No one can give you a definite answer on this forum. Given your age, it most likely isn't heart related (unless you have a history of early family heart disease). I would guess it is more likely to be acid reflux or anxiety. The only real way to know for sure, is make a visit to your doctor. Relax and good luck.
