I Have Developed A Persistent Cough With Frothy White & Pink Phlegm

Have recently moved to Singapore and developed a persistent cough about 5weeks ago (dry for the first 2 weeks, then small amounts of clear phlegm ) , it seemed to clear up, but today I ve experienced sudden, quite violent coughs with frothy white phlegm, and the last cough produced pink phlegm.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic
Good Day
Do you have any fever. What is your Occupation may I ask. Are you a smoker. The pink phlegm would indicate that there is some bleeding in the lungs/respiratory tract, but since you have frothy pink to white it most probably is from the lungs. You will need to show to a Pulmonologist just to be safe. You may do Steam inhalation for relief till then.
