I Have "elevated " Liver Function. I Understand The Number

I have "elevated " liver function. I understand the number should be low (around 70ish) I am 54 female with no history of any issues or medical problems in the past. My AST and ALT are elevated. They started in the 250-300 range! Then they dropped in one month to AST 158 and ALT to 166. I stopped all supplements and herbs, yet now they are still up and the ALT is now 231 and AST 130. So! Should I be concerned? Is there something I can do to help this down back to "normal"? Or is this reasonably normal for my age? My Doctor is fantastic, and she wants it down to "perfect". I like that but I don't want to worry. So if there is something else I can do, and or if these number are 'reasonable' can you tell me? THANKS! Laura
