I Have Factor V Leiden, I'm Going Through Menapause. My

I have factor v Leiden, I'm going through menapause. My GYN has told me that transdermal estrogen low dose will not impact my clotting, but here's the deal, I woke up yesterday with a black eye for no reason. Just to add, I have no right internal carotid, so my brain circulation functions through patent circle of willis. I have been taking the estrogen for around a month, because the menapause sx are so bad. I'm a NP in psychiatry, so aware of complications etc, so I worry. Can you please give me your opinion?
