I Have Had Several Kidney Stones Surgeries Int He Past

I have had several kidney stones surgeries int he past and i was wondering if it is safe to take Biotin with that history? I am having a problem getting my hair to grow as a result of a medicine I took that made my hair fall out and i was wondering if that is safe to take? I've heard that biotin can cause kidney stones though so i don't know. I currently take b6 and magnesium to help prevent stones. So basically my question is: If you take Biotin will it increase your risk of kidney stones or is there a safer supplement to take?
