I Have High BP, Is It Dangerous ?

hi I have just had my blood pressure took at my local doctors it was 147/99 was jus wondering weather or not this is high ? i no it is high because they gave a appointment to go back next week but was hopeing to find out how high is this ? is it dangerous ? thanks daniel.

It is above normal, in the range of what would be called pre-hypertension. But, its not that much above normal. It needs to be corrected, but its not something you need to stress over. They may put you on a medication for a bit, like Lisinopril to help get it under control.
