I Have Irregular Period Due To Hypothyrodism
Hello doctor , I am 24yrs old, unmarried, female... My problem is, I had irregularity in periods so consulted a doctor where i was advised get bloodtest n scanning done.. when I got my blood report it stated that i have got hypothyrodism of 11.84. previously I had thyroid but when i took ayurvedic treatment it was totally cured a year ago.. but now again it has started.. I have heard and read in books that ayurvedic treatment can cure thyroid. Is it true? If yes, then it did not happen in my case.. I am really worried... One of my uncle suggested your hospital where its famous for ayurvedic treatment and gave me hope this will be cured... So can you please suggest me? I am really going into depression due to this.. cure varies from case to case. I have a case whom i aministered kanchnar guggul and arogya vardhini vati and from last two years he is without medicine. He never started allopathy and came in very initial stage. and also some in which there is recurrance as you stated.

Yes Thyroide is curable in "Yog".
I hade hypothyroidism and doctors told me that i had to take medecine life long but there were many side effects because of this..
i am doing "pranayam" for last 3 year and iam not taking any medecine since last 1.5 year...
usefull pranayam are
- kapalbhati
- anulom-vilom
- uzzayi

Yes its true that thyroid disorders can be cured by alternative therapy like homeopathy and ayurveda.
But it also involves lifestyle management like keeping weight stable, acitivity (like yog/ dance etc) which keeps stress away and keeps body active.
Sometimes conditions may reappear during conditions like pregnancy, or during stress. So permanent cure is difficult , but not impossible.

thyroide can be cured effectively if you take proper medication .but it is also possible that your throide level may fluctuate vice versa.you have to take medicine for a log time and routine checkup in once or twice in year.whatever way of treatment you are takie but complete the course.
you can try homoeopathy for this it is effective on case of thyroidism

I heard that hypo-thyroid is curable only using thyroxin medicine(which is english medicine).If are not using Thyroxin while treating patient using Aurvadic medicine nor allopathy, than i can belive that there is a treatment in Aurvadic.Sir for your knowledge there is no research since 15 years in Aurvadic.So dont leave thyroxin medicine.

if you are suffering from hypothyroidism, that means you will have to take life long thyroxine, only that is the treatment. when you will be pregnant your dose will be modified or increased. There is one problem with thyroxine users, that it may ppt heart attack after your menopause. Get your antibodies test done, so as to rule out hashimoto thyroiditis etc.
