I Have Random Itchy Bumps On My Body

I get these random itchy bumps on my body. They do not occur in clusters but resemble mosquito bites. They are also very itching and it find them mostly on my legs, jaw line, and behind my ears. Also sometimes on my arms, cheeks or neck. Please help me figure out what it is. Thanks.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be lichen urticatus most probably. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. The lesion may be duecto hypersensitivity to the insects. I would recommend you to apply mild steroid cream on the lesions. Take antihistaminic like cetirizine 10 mg daily. If needed, take oral steroid in tapering dose.

Hope this helps.
