I Have Recently Been Diagnosed With High Blood Pressure. My

I have recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure. My numbers are usually 130/90. I hub a stress echo, which showed minimal enlarged left atrium. My mother had chosen not to deal with her long term high blood pressure, and at the age of 85, had a bi-ventricular pacemaker put in. She lived to the age of 89. So, my blood pressure, I am assuming, is inherited. She also had a-fib, which also contributed to her heart failure. Looking at the internet, I am worried about my enlarged left atrium. I am keeping an eye on my blood pressure, am active-biking, taking spin exercise classes, however, this keeps me wondering if I should be doing something else.
