I have recently developed some sort of reflux. Or so I am told. I have never had anything close to this. I am a very fit 67 year old female who eats right and drinks little. Never smoked. I was put on Prilosec and after reading all the side effects, decided it is not for me. I really hate taking meds. I was getting that very intense pain at the base of my breastbone, about once a week. Now I am not getting that but it feels a bit higher up, and more like a lump or pressure feeling rather than pain. I have had trouble with what I thought was sinus issues for a couple years, giving me sinus headaches in the middle of the night that would wake me up. Then I would get drainage in my throat, and often clearing my throat and some hoarseness, but nothing that lasts. This might be too much information, but any thoughts? I did buy the Munaka Honey with cider vinegar in it and
Zantac, which I have not tried yet, but plain baking soda dissolved in water gives almost immediate relief if I get the serious pain I had a few weeks ago. There you have it. Would welcome an opinion.
