I Have Severe Sciatic Pain From A L5/s1 Disc Protrusion.

I have severe sciatic pain from a l5/s1 disc protrusion. I have a referral for a specialist for February next year. At the moment I am experiencing terrible pain to the point where I can barely walk, and cannot dress myself in the morning. I have been proescribed Mobic anti-inflammatory in the mean-time but it does nothing for the pain. Can you recommend some pain relief medication for nerve pain that I can use until my specialist appointment in Ferbruary?
