I Have Struggled With A Metatarsal Stress Fracture For A

I have struggled with a metatarsal stress fracture for a year- moon boot and crutches for 6 months, then ORIF and bone graft and Vacocast/crutches. Xrays show fracture margin still apparent. Pain and swelling constant, unable to walk comfortably. Surgeon believes I have mild CRPS and or nerve damage because of pain, swelling, sensitivity, burning feeling, red and warm skin on affected foot. Can't wear shoes due to pain and swelling. Is it possible symptoms are from fracture not healed, or more likely CRPS. Either way, would wearing moon boot or Vacocast help with swelling and discomfort>
Thank you.
